A Message from Our Founders
Dear friends, partners and donors.
2025 marked the beginning of Angel of Hope for the Weak Charity Foundation. We started with a simple belief: that the weak deserve dignity and the voiceless deserve to be heard. Our very first initiative — a community pilot for older persons — was meant to reach 100 elders. Instead, more than 200 came forward, showing us just how much need existed quietly in our community.
That same year, we also took our first step toward economic empowerment, sponsoring a young woman with ₦150,000 in seed funding to start her own small-scale food business, “Chops” a small investment in a future she is now building for herself.
To every donor who believed in an idea before it had a track record, every volunteer who showed up for strangers who became family, and every partner who took a chance on a brand-new organization — thank you. You didn’t just support our first year. You helped us come into existence.

We are a nonprofit humanitarian organization committed to restoring hope, healing, and strength to individuals and families facing emotional pain, financial hardship, social rejection, or abandonment.

Program Highlights
Human Rights Stewardship Pilot: Community-Based Work with Older Persons in Nigeria
In 2025, the foundation launched its first structured, rights-based intervention for older persons — a community-based model built on direct engagement with elders where they live, rather than a facility-based or purely charitable hand-out approach.
The pilot was originally planned to reach 100 elders. More than 200 older persons turned out — double the planned number — a strong signal of both the scale of unmet need in the community and the trust the foundation has built through its outreach.
The program was delivered through four pillars of support:
- Emotional Connection — regular companionship visits to address isolation and build trust.
- Dignified Living Essentials — Foods, hygiene kits, seasonal clothing, and weekly nutrition parcels.
- Community Integration — “Social Hub” events reconnecting elders with community life.

Small Business Sponsorship: Investing in Economic Independence
Alongside our elder care pilot, 2025 saw the foundation take its first step into economic empowerment. We sponsored a young woman with ₦150,000 in seed capital to launch “Chops,” her own small-scale food business — a small but meaningful investment in long-term independence rather than short-term relief.
This reflects a core belief of our foundation: that restoring dignity isn’t only about meeting immediate needs, but about helping people build a future they can sustain on their own.

Looking Ahead to 2026
Building on the lessons from our 2025 pilot, we plan to:
- Scale the elder care model to additional communities, with capacity planning built for turnout beyond projections.
- Launch a menstrual health outreach, visiting underprivileged girls in the community to donate sanitary pads and support their dignity and school attendance.
- Provide clothing donations to underprivileged children in the community, ensuring they have decent and comfortable clothing.
